The BIG DAY. A wedding day is one of the most beautiful and essential events in the lives of two people. Weddings are said to bring a meaning of commitment and responsibility and that is, to have a family. Such event will never be successful without the effort of the many individuals from the planners, the florists, the sponsors, the maid of honor and many more that includes one of the highlighted roles on weddings - the bridesmaid.

The bridesmaid bears much of the responsibilities and tasks to do as the supportive role to the bride and to the maid of honor. She is actually very essential in making the bride’s big day a trouble-free lifetime experience. They also come in big numbers as well and could be the bride's closest friends or relatives of the couple.

The role of the bridesmaid is very crucial in the life of the bride and in the wedding per se. First, she offers moral support to the bride in the whole process of the wedding and even during the preparations. She assists the bride in choosing the gowns for the bride, maid of honor, bridesmaids, flower girls and even of the sponsors.

Second, they are also responsible for helping, hosting, planning and throwing a bridal shower. Lastly, a group of bridesmaids is also very important in making the wedding well-prepared. They are actually the doers of the bride’s ideas on her big day. They give advices as to the music, food, decoration, giveaways and even helping in planning for the reception. Also, during the wedding day, they help keep the bride calm and help her dress before the ceremony.

Being a bridesmaid is not a simple role to fulfill as a sister or a good friend; it requires commitment and dedication in assisting the bride of all her needs for her big day. However, being a bridesmaid is also a plus for it helps you prepare yourself for your own wedding day. Just enjoy the celebration and you too will have yours soon.
